FRENCH & SPANISH TRANSLATION OF MHEALTH, HEARSCREEN® AND HEARTEST™ - NOW AVAILABLE

On 20 November, hearX® Group launched French, Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Latin-America) translations for the mHealth mobile app and cloud-based data management portal- specifically for hearScreen® and hearTest™. Our innovative solutions are available to speaking users, such as community health workers, nurses, school nurses, and patients to use hearScreen® and hearTest™ within local French and Spanish context to conduct hearing screening and view all results in their preferred language.

English, Spanish and French form part of the top 5 most spoken languages in the world. Apart from English being the most prominent language in 94 countries in the world, 29 countries list French as the primary or secondary language, with Spanish following with a total of 21 countries.

The translations formed part of hearX’s Google Impact Challenge projects (supported by Google.org) and will allow hearX to reach a readiness level to scale to French and Spanish speaking countries. Addressing language barriers is another step forward for hearX to reach our vision of providing innovative solutions that contribute towards increasing access to healthy hearing for everyone, everywhere.
